New Partnerships Build Excitement at Ripple’s UBRICON Event

The yearly Ripple hosted UBRI Connect kicked off yesterday with great perspectives on the future of the RippleNet ecosystem and its evolution.

Those present included their new Icelandic tech team, Xpring team, Binance, Bitpay and University of Tokyo representatives just as an example.

What made this year so exciting was the buzz that is surrounding Rippel at the moment and the acceleration of its world-changing technology.

In recent weeks Ripple has made a serious drive towards expansion and development of the RippleNet ecosystem with their tech acquisitions.

Those discussed were Forte, a gaming developer who in March this year received $100 million from Xpring to develop better in-game marketplaces.

Rather more exciting is the mention of PolySign, their ‘institutional-grade’ tech was developed by David Schwartz and is designed to handle $ trillions.

PolySign’s custody solution supports the full spectrum of digital assets and is designed to scale to trillions under management.

Long-time XRP reporter and YouTuber Alex Cobb has suggested that PolySign could well be used by banks to hold XRP on their balance sheets.

Another major signing announced this week was crypto payments processor Bitpay, allowing businesses to accept XRP for cross border payments.

They will also integrate the Bitpay Wallet with the Xpring developer platform allowing further RippleNet developments on top of current technology.

BitPay, a leading cryptocurrency payments platform with presence all over the world says that its merchants will soon start to receive Ripple’s XRP as payment for goods and services. The partnership had the members of the XRPArmy beaming in joy
